This is a historically significant car in that I think it was the first turbocharged 911 based race car; the real one made an appearance at an event in the UK recently. It's an old kit, and old kits mean more work, but the end result is worth it. Given its significance, maybe it's time someone did an all new version of this model kit?

Great looking result! One nit pick comment, please. The roll cages were aluminum Aluminum and unpainted. When I prepped ,# 22 for Rennfest 2 I " overrestorrd the cage by polishing it. Not vert original, .but looked nice.

It sure looks very similar to that waaay OLD Nitto/Entex curbside kits. The only thing that got sharper in this Italeri reissue IMO is the interior, because old ones looks like a small bathtub lol

James, I'm not sure. We do have a KZbin filter running that keeps most everything civil on this site and a policy that simply states, "don't be mean", but what's on your mind? -Doug

I commented that you did a wonderful job with a less than great kit. I went on to explain that the roll cages were aluminum . When I prepared # 22 for Rennsport 2 ( a German race celebration) I "overrestored" the roll cage by polishing it until it looked like chrome. There were 2 rsrs there that day and the Porsche factory one was accurate., but the rollcage looked sad in oxidized aluminum. Thank you for considering my complaint. I enjoy your channel.
