Porsche Cayman (981) Numeric Shifter Cable Install

Installation video for Numeric Racing Performance Shifter Cables on a 2015 Porsche (981) Cayman base. In this video I'll be covering how I took apart my interior, what I did to ensure tight fitting of the cables, how to get to the cayman firewall and take the trim pieces off, how to fit the cayman cables in, and how to put back together the interior trim pieces.

Also one thing to note, I did realize the cables have nothing to do with grease splattered on my transmission, that is a CV boot issue that someone pointed out to me. The main fault was that the drivers side OEM shifter cable disconnected. The grease has nothing to do with this job, simply just learning more about how cars work, so my bad if there's any mis information here.

Wish you showed what you actually did in some kind if detail. Im trying to do the same job right now on my Boxster S and there isnt a good detailed guide i can find.

Honestly filming what I had was hard enough as it is. the hardest part is getting the cables over the engine bay and connected to the trans since the cables are so thick
