Porsche Cayman GT4 and Lotus Evora GT Owner’s Perspective: Which car do we prefer?

In this video, my friend Al who owns a 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 drives my 2020 Lotus Evora GT and shares his perspective on the car. I then drive his car and share my perspective on it. These are both rear wheel drive, mid-engine cars with 6-cylinder engines that are similarly priced. After driving both cars, do we want to switch cars? This video could be helpful for someone who is cross shopping these two cars. The Evora is bone stock. The GT4 has Dundon race headers and Porsche Sports Exhaust. The knocking sound inside the cabin of the GT4 is the harness hitting the carbon seat back - we were using the seatbelts.

Hi Joe. Strongly recommend you spend $20 and purchase a wind shield for your mics. They will cut out all the wind noise and dramatically improve the audio on your videos. Once the video analytics are available you'll notice your views during the video will drop off once the wind noise picks up. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for the recommendation! I was bummed to hear the wind noise when editing. A high pass filter removed some of it but what remains is significant. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the wind that day. I'll start using wind screens.

Hello, the aftermarket wheels that I had on my Panamera were HRE RC100. The wheel and tire sizes are provided below: Front Wheels: 20"x9.5", ET51 Rear Wheels: 20"x11.5", ET55 Front Tires: 255/40 ZR 20 Rear Tires: 295/35 ZR 20 The OEM wheel set up had the same tire size but the rear wheel was half an inch narrower.
