Love it, as an ex painter it's refreshing to hear your comment about filler over paint, exactly how I was taught, so many now just slap filler over paint. Can I ask why you decided on using full gloss rather than clear over base? I worked for an old fashioned VW/Audi dealer and we blended everything, we used Glasurit back then . Keep it up, nice to see decent paint and panel 👍

We blended out the 2K Direct gloss and then cleared over the top that only reason we done this was the best Match we could find was in 2K

Hi Jason yes I've used a lot of the 590 it's a decent clear coat it's a little more like an MS and flows out very nice follow the TDS closely and you should be good, all the technical data sheets are available on the Novol website

FanBloodyTastic Gavin, that Porsche is a lovely colour and you matched it spot on then laid down a lovely glossy coat of clear which came out great 👏👍 I'm just a hobby painter doing my thing in my homemade booth and quite pleased with my results which I post on my IG channel, I use Mirka basecut 150mm on my Deros but for some reason I keep getting pigtails more so when I'm preparing clearcoat for a flow coat, also tried Mirka Gold and Indasa Ultravent with similar results but getting better results with Mirka Autonet any idea why this is Gavin 🤔 thanks mate and a great channel 👍

Ok thanks Gavin, IMO the disc is clogging up making the dust ball up on the disc causing the pig tails, probably why the net discs are better as the dust is extracted better through the net 🤔🤷‍♂️
