Porsche Speedster Loud Rare and Speedy

Porsche 911 Speedster ;
This year Porsche opened an order book in Britain for its new 911 Speedster, an ultra limited-edition high end sports car and they promptly closed that book again once the lucky handful of customers had been informed they were chosen. And no I wasn’t one of them.
We didn't get to drive it sadly. 😢
Just 1948 units will be built, in homage to the original Porsche 356’s year of release, but unlike 911 Speedster models that have come before, this 991 generation version takes a decidedly more hardcore approach, now developed by Porsche Motorsport and incorporating a version of the GT3’s powertrain to create a more focused special edition.

Congratulations, its a stunning car, I did a review of one last year, it feels more quality than a GT3 the hood components insulate some of the gearbox noise and roof down the exhaust noise is very entertaining. Its the best 911 to date. - Roger

I must admit i think 🤔 the 718 Spyder looks better, but then again the taste I different.

Its a nice car from our designers at Porsche Janko, but to be honest as you I wasn't too impressed either with it for what it cost, Agreed the 718 Spyder is more attractive...

Yes it’s a very nice car but extremely overpriced 🙈 I know some body who owns an original 356 speedster from the 50 ‘s that was at that time in the US a poor man’s Porsche cheaper then the 356 Coupe and Cabrio now they reach insane prices 🙈a Porsche should be driven every day also in winter with the new 911 speedster it will be more a collectible and a garage queen 😉 Great video by the way !

it was intended to be a final send off model of the 991.2 TZ - wifey couldn't make it to this do leaving me free to stalk this time (without success obviously)
