Fun fact: You can see A LOT of gen 1 Taycans in Turkey because when it first came out, the usually extremely high vehicle tax didn't apply to electric cars, so many people bought Taycans for the price of a regular Audi A4. Then of course the government changed the taxing scheme and the price of the Taycans doubled overnight. Also, the name Taycan is Turkish. "Tay" meaning young horse and "can" meaning life/soul. So it kind of means "the spirit of a young horse" in Turkish. Kind of, because it's just a combination of two words.

Most folks to avoid visas would stay in European Union then directly cross into Turkia. That means driving from Germany via Austria, continuing through Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, then crossing into Turkia. However if I would drive with family I would go scenic route from Austria to Italy, along Appenin peninsula to Bari, take the ferry from Italy to Greece, drive through Greece, then cross into Turkia. This way is only one border crossing with paperwork control altogether. The good news the ferry is overnight, instead of staying in a hotel. The latter option is obviously preferable while driving EVs.
