What a treasure to hear the waves in the early morning. We used to camp on the beach on weekends and it was so much fun. The sound of the waves going to sleep and then waking up to it is comforting. Thanks Dennis, great video.

Hi, Dennis. Thank you for the nice beach cruise. And thanks to David, for his trash patrol. I used to start my daily rambling with a trash patrol on the sand between the jetty and the pier. Later, when I got to see little turtle faces poke out of the water by the jetty, I'd feel sure that Mother Nature was rewarding me for my efforts. Come to think about it, there really must be more people who pick up their trash than not, because otherwise there would be a lot more garbage than there is. Anyway, It was good to see and hear the surf, and the Kevins carrying on.

Hello friend. The older trailers always had such character. There is an RV park here that only allows old airstreams. It looks wonderful, but they have no trespassing. Signs posted everywhere.

Good morning Dennis! Wow, we need more David's!! That's awesome ❤ People trashing our outdoor spaces is something that irritates me to no end. You see the same thing at state park campgrounds. It's why they are closing so many public camping places. Ok, off my soapbox, lol. I love the shark mural on that trailer!! I do remember just playing in the water without having any worries as a kid 😂 Now I would be terrified to get in the water!! Not scared of the water, scared of what lives in it! @@dennis78382 last time I fished there i was constantly pulling up the seaweed while I fished. It makes for a not so enjoyable time pulling it off my hook. It was agonizing. But I did enjoy the beach though.

Hey Charles. Good morning buddy. It's funny but if I drive from Rockport Beach to Port Aransas, I pass about six or seven of those donut places. I really like this one because the people are super friendly and if you order something like a jalapeño cheese pig and a blanket they actually warm it up before they give it to you.their coffee is hot and their cold drinks are ice cold. Really makes the big difference. Just normal customer service things that don't have anymore. I hope you're doing well, buddy and making good progress.

Hello friend. I have noticed that as well. Rockport does have the rookery area which most of the great blue herons make use of this time of year. I would imagine having a safe place to nest at night has a lot to do with it. Just not an over abundance of trees in Puerto Aransas😃

Good video, Dennis. I liked seeing the various set-ups given that we'll be around there in a couple of weeks. Was that an overnight camping part of the beach or did those people just show up there early in the morning.

Hello friend. Are you referring to the South jetty area? If so, it is clearly marked no overnight camping. That particular Reagan had been there a few nights. That kind of thing doesn't matter to me and I think the unfortunate people will let it go as long as no one's causing any type of disturbance or mess. 99% of the people are really respectful of the rules and clean up after themselves.

@@dennis78382 Thanks for the response! I saw something about Port Aransas having a curfew, thus overnight camping was not allowed, but not exactly sure. Starting at the South Jetty area (that's at the north tip of Port Aransas, right?) where does the overnight camping start (mile marker) as you make your way to JP Luby Beach/North Padre area? We're considering Luby, just to be certain of overnight camping being allowed, but in or around Port Aransas sounds good, too.

Our plan is to take the ferry into PA, check out the town, then head on down to the first available overnight camping.
