I visited in 1994 and it is something I will always remember. I bought a lot of books and read them occasionally still. One day, I'd like to go back.

Visited Port Arthur in 1993. What a sad story indeed showcasing man's inhumanity to his fellow man.

Why restore a death camp, boys 9 to 19 yrs old sent to the farthest southern lands to be enslaved and tortured until death. My great gran father was there, he got flogging stopped on point puer. That bought him into conflict with the hierarchy. The boys were targeted for death. They were never going to leave thise islands. Shame.
