Great show! We just talked about this yesterday! Always venture out and try new cruise lines. Not only do you see new ports, you get new cruise experiences.

30+ cruises mostly out of New Orleans and Galveston. I've gone to Cozumel/Progresso or Cozumel/ Costa Maya so many times, we rarely go past the port area shops if we get off the ship at all. Sometimes, the days we don't get off are my favorite.

Did the A,B,C islands last year which i really enjoyed. Tired of going to Nassau but enjoy going to Carnivals private island just for the beach. Wouldn’t mind seeing more Bermuda options for a cruise port. Or, options of St Kitts, St Lucia, St Maarten, etc.

Galveston is our home port now and I am done with the same ports as well. On Jubilee now and didn’t get off at any of the ports. Yesterday in Costa Maya I think hardly no one got off the boat . The boat was so crowded it was horrible 😡

Carnival used to go to great and fun islands. It’s like they gave up on them after Covid! I’ve started going on different cruise lines to go different places. Bon voyage Carnival! I’m going to a different cruise line.
@joeln686113 күн бұрын
Lines used to vary the ports by week- from San Juan, one week eastern Carib, next week western carib. Other times, different ports on the easter carib- one week the ABC islands, the next week the typical eastern (St thomas, st lucia, Barbados, Martinique,) etc. Wish they would go back to that.

Yes, in my 15 cruises with carnival, I have been to same places because I don’t want to do more than 8 days, I don’t want to fly to California or Seattle, so I have been limited so I’ve been trying to do different ships. I don’t want to go to Alaska(I’m a warm girl) but my husband does. If I go to other places like Hawaii or Italy, my bucket list, I’ll have to go without going on a cruise. I can’t spend that many days on the ship. I did go on royal 2 times to a different place that I haven’t done with Carnival. I look at place, ship and where the home port is.

I stopped getting off the ship years ago in Nassua, San Juan, and Cozumel. Now that I have introduced my kids to cruising, I have begun getting off again so they could see these ports. I think my next few cruises will be to the Southern Caribbean! Haven't been there in 20 years.

It seems like a lot of people want to cruise the newer, bigger ships which visit the usual ports. If they're willing to try the older, smaller ships they can frequently find new ports that can't handle the bigger ships.

Have only been on one cruise and that was back in 2012. Went to Freeport, Nassau, and half moon cay out of port Canaveral. Going to Cozumel in march from Galveston. Then got one in 2026 going to half moon, Nassau, and celebration key out of Galveston. We live in Texas and it only takes about 10yrs to get to Galveston.

My husband and I have not been cruising that long but we've already been to Cozumel five times. We just got back from a 14-day cruise to Panama and had four ports of call and two of them had already been to. One of them was Cozumel and roatan. The other two we had not was a fun trip. But I truly would like to go to the Bahamas but not sure if carnival goes there.
