Hello, will the phone number being ported be out of commission for any period of time during the porting process? For example, once number is ported and if I don't assign the number to the callqueue right away.

When your previous carrier sets the date and time for porting out, the service to that number will stop then. It will be down for the couple of minutes it takes to assign it in Microsoft teams admin center (to a user, call queue, or auto attendant).

@@ApexOneTech, thanks for your reply. So, does that mean I would have to standby and assign those number to the corresponding call queue immediately before the number will start working in Teams? The longer I wait to assign, the longer the numbers will be down? Am I understanding this correctly?

@@kcheng911 Correct. But that's why you request a date and time that's works for you. And hopefully the losing carrier agrees.

Bro You got e signature email immediately or after some days to sign ??
@ApexOneTech5 ай бұрын
The email for signature from Microsoft comes immediately. They use that to reach out to your current carrier to port the phone numbers. Be sure to check your spam folder.
