Troubleshoot Portable AC Not Blowing Cold Air, Manufacturer Recommended Steps to Fix the Issues

My Portable Air Conditioner stopped blowing cold air. It’s a Hisense Dual Hose 8000 BTU model number AP55023HR1GD.
Below are the steps recommended by most manufacturers customer service before creating a RMA if your unit is still under warranty:
1. With unit disconnected from the outlet hold down the power button for 30 s (this will discharge any residual current and reset the unit), then plug the unit back in, turn it on.
2. Set the unit to 61 F and fan at high, let it run for at least 30 min - this will set the unit in Supercool mode even if your remote doesn't have a supercool button.
3. Switch to different modes and let it run. This will activate different power profiles on your unit.
4. Power cycle the unit. I personally don't like this one as it may cause damage to your unit, I assume the goal of this step is to unstuck or power kick parts in the portable ac unit.
These are customer service recommended steps. If upon trying all the steps, your unit still not works you may have a more serious problem which will require disassembly.

When i put in supercool or any cooling value, compressor is starting and for just 10 min let’s say, but after this 10 min compressor stops so no cold air coming, but warm air is coming, then after 20 min is compressor is on again and so on. Something is going into protection, can you pls let me know what can be?

So, compressor is starting and cold air is blowing, than after some time compressor turns off, fans are still spinning, after a while compressor starts again and cold air blowing again, is that right? If this is the case high humidity can cause excess water accumulation inside the unit and in order to avoid an overflow, compressor shuts off, while spinning fans help evaporate the accumulated water in the drain pans. Check for water and drain the unit when the compressor turns off. Also make sure the fins and both grills, back and the one inside are clean. Hope this helps

what's ur view i am currently using i7 7700k with RTX 2070 8gb my usage is 30% gaming mostly online like Dota 2 , Cod Warzone or some battlefield or future GTA 6 :p 70% i am 3D artist mainly unreal engine 5 and 3D render software user I want to upgrade to RTX 4070 ti Super its urgently needed btw cuz my work needs more GPU Vram like 16 gb should I pair RTX 4070 ti Super with intel i7 7700k ? i use 2 monitor setup LG ultra gear 165 hz 1440p and 1080p benq

This is posted to the wrong video but I will gladly answer for you. At 1080p and 1440p with i7-7700 and RTX 4070 Ti you will get about 40% -50% bottleneck. This combo is a waste of money. Check this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/omqtmqmHZ95-hqs At 4K i7-7700k and RTX 4070 Ti have almost no bottleneck; but check the frametimes - i7-7700k has double the frametimes of i7-13700k which results in a choppier gameplay. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l56Wd6alodN0aZo Pairing RTX 4070 ti Super with intel i7-7700k will not give you a lot of benefits because the GPU will be limited by the CPU in any case. i7-7700 it's way too weak for RTX 4070 ti Super. The get all RTX 4070 ti Super offers you will have to upgrade the CPU too, otherwise is not worth it. Any GPU faster than RTX 2080 will cause a bottleneck if paired with i7-7700k. Hope this helps

@ayarimaher7150 If the compressor is working, fans are spinning, but no cool air is coming out, then there might be obstruction in the refrigerant lines, or the unit has a leak. Try to run the unit in supercool mode for an hour or so. If it's still not cooling - then the unit has a leak, and it's low on refrigerant. Fixing the leak and adding refrigerant is more expensive than buying a new AC unit. Check your warranty and call the manufacturer if the unit is fairly new. They might work with you if it's a leak. It's kind of a manufacturer fault that lines were not soldered the proper way. Hope this helps

@@strykergaming_ngadgets I posted this same question in the other video but glad I found this comment. Going to let mine run on high and cold for an hour and hoping for the best. I’d hate to purchase a new one since we’ve only had ours for 2 years and the warranty conveniently expired before it started failing to cool.

@@strykergaming_ngadgets no worries, it helps. I left it on for an hour and still didn’t cool. Will try to dust as much as I can but it’s potentially a leak with the refrigerant which means we’re likely going to have to scrap it. Avoiding all LG products…
