Invert the fan system. Intake below, exhaust up. Hot air goes up, not down!

Yeah I misspoke there. I believe they're actually in the correct spots, I just said it wrong.

this guy has got it all! Definitely would want to hire you for a gig in the future

Since when do you follow my youtube channel lol

I'd put all the connectors on the back at the bottom, easier for cable management when connecting to it

Very true! I didn’t even think of that lol.

this rack could have been 3U shorter and lighter, one fan unit is enough and could be at the back with a vent, power strip could be at the back either. definitely add a powercon.

I agree with you in some aspects. The only issue is when you are doing gigs in the Arizona summer. Sometimes the rigs are right under the sun with little shade and this things cooks fast. I'd rather be safe then sorry especially cause the fan racks are only like $100 each. also wanted to keep the rack big incase I expand in the future, so I will move the power strip if I get something like an audio interface, ssd recorder rack, or something of that nature

This is great! I've been looking for something like this! Is this a Pro X Flight Case? And if you don't mind me asking, how do you put together the connectors with the rack case? I love that solution!!!!
@waltjennette3 жыл бұрын
I'm assuming they're isolated chassis connectors?
@valleyvideocom3 жыл бұрын
Hey Walter! You're correct, they are isolated. I'll send you some links to the ones I purchased but essentially there is a Pro X rack chassis that I bought separately and custom installed the connectors manually. However, the case itself is not ProX. I got an off brand one that I still really like. The only downside is that there are no rubber pads on the bottom. How are you getting software control for your hyperdeck, switcher and video hub with one Ethernet connection?
@valleyvideocom2 жыл бұрын
It’s only for the switcher! Sorry if I implied that it was all coming from 1 cable. If you wanted control of all of them, you would simply need to buy an extra Ethernet pass through for each cable run

@@valleyvideocom Thank you for the clarification. I'm planning on including a network switcher in my rack for me to connect all my bmd.
