Great project, been kicking around the idea of building a all electric APU for an RV capable of running a small AC but with the addition of 300 watts of solar. Would also be able to charge while truck is running from additional inverter.. Anyways keep it up..

Did you need to balance charge the batteries to get full capacity from them? I have some that I purchased from another vendor. He asked me to charge them to 4.1 per cell. And even at that I am barely getting any meaningful capacity from them

They stay pretty balanced. But I did order BMS, I will explain why in the next video. Also, I did not capacity test mine, but ebay seller said they are at 80% or so of the original capacity

@@sideproject4028 mine would not balance and we ruined a few. I had to get a BMS to make them work.

Using pliers to crimp a connector will not work and you will bottle neck your whole system. You need an actual crimper unless a true termination will not occur.
