Hi Tony! Nice battery that Exo-Worthy. A bit big for Sota, probably a good choice for Pota if you want to play radio for the entire weekend! But then again there is nothing wrong with being over-prepared. I have a 6Ah battery which I have used for two 3-hour 145-Alive events with my Retevis R95 at 15 Watts, and that battery still has more than 30% charge. The Icom 705 would be significantly more power efficient than my Retevis, so I would be surprised if you get less than 48 hours continuous use from that battery. Good activation. Bit concerned about the strain relief for the BNC connection to the 705, what you’ve used looks a bit too “solid” for the 705’s BNC, can I suggest a short length of say RG174 between the 705 and the M&P cable.
