I have watched your video several times trying to decide on what machine too purchase. I just ordered mine today and I’m super excited🙌🏽😄 Thanks
@kathyjarvis81916 жыл бұрын
The machine does what a conventional washer does, only you have to do it manually. So you wash, then spin the soapy water out, then refill the wash tub to rinse, then spin again. The water inlet for the spin side does what a conventional washer does, it spins fresh water in while spinning just to make sure all of the soapy water is out. There are older versions of these washers. I had one called the hoover spinmatic.

Girl let me tell you. I love your video. You are only one who used enough detergent in the washer. i don't know what the hell is wrong with everyone else who thinks that they can wash their filthy laundry with just a tablespoon of whatever freaking cheap detergent they are using. The only comment I have is that I hope you rinse the blanket again with clean water and not just spin it with the soapy water and called it a day.

M D then u have people who use too much soap! My hubby uses way way too much...we add oxy clean an vinegar, bakin soda an strong detergent....I get headx from it wow
@brendaleejones58276 жыл бұрын
Actually you can wash clothes with a lot of soap, put them in the washer after you do this,.. 🤔 ...most likely the water will get side possibly...hmmmm....
@brendaleejones58276 жыл бұрын
Typo, Suds....😙
@tranquility93256 жыл бұрын
The reason ppl dont use a lot of soap is bec you will have to do multiple rinses during to the high amount of suds. The machine does NOT require tons of soap.

Loved the video with your demo. We just got ours 3 months ago. And so far everything is doing good. Actually we got a faucet splitter and it works wonderful. The brand of portable washing we got is Gymax. We got ours from Walmart.com.

Whats a faucet splitter?
@addisonshawntise6 жыл бұрын
Lisa Marie, a faucet splitter splits your water. Go to Google and put in faucet splitter. And it will tell you all about them. They have the kinds that you can use it in your kitchens and bathrooms. Hopes this helps you.

I live in an apartment on the 3rd floor, no washer in the building. I also have a bed wetter. I'm getting this whether I can legally have one or not. I need this.

Thank you for this video I just got mines and haven’t used yet. When you do the spin cycle how long do you leave the water on? Also is the control on drain or standard when you rinse/spin?
@levette88334 жыл бұрын
I leave the water on for 2 mins out of the 5 mins on the dial. And I have the other dial on drain

What a coincidence. I just found your channel a few minutes ago and subscribed. I have a portable washer that looks exactly like this only aqua colored. I have used it four times and today I took it to use it again and it won’t work. I’m so disappointed. I really liked it. Is you’re still working or did it last a long time? I paid $110 for mine.

I know it's been more than 2 yrs since you made this, but please tell me how wide (diameter) and deep is the spin basket?
@theresa93166 жыл бұрын
I'm confused bc other videos I've seen, they clothes also rinse on the same side they wash and once put in spin dryer no water gets out in there instead it rings all water out clothes. now I'm super confused as I have 1 coming in 3 days
@levette88336 жыл бұрын
That is one way to do it! I just did it the way I did because it was easier for me to do it that way. I find draining the water just to add more for a rinse cycle is a bit of a waste. So I wrinse and ring at the same time
@mkjones76036 жыл бұрын
This is the traditional way to do it. This is how they did it back when twin tubs were popular in the 60s/70s. That’s why it has a water inlet, it save far more water doing it this way.
@agalindo777235 жыл бұрын
Take a pair of pantihose and cut them and tie it to the end of the drain hose with a rubberband. It will catch the lint. You can also use knee high stockings too.

No, not this particular model. There are bigger ones on the market

If you watch this tutorial just know the spout for draining, is suppose to be down because it is a gravity drain that’s why she’s having problems getting water out the machine. There’s something about these portable washers that people won’t read the instructions or they won’t do research to see how the machine operates! But they will make videos confusing people more and giving out wrong information...like here they tell you to put in very little soap! Now I have to say most people don’t use the rise cycle like this which is how it’s suppose to be used so good for that.
@levette88334 жыл бұрын
This one was not a gravity drain, it actually had a pump, and per my instructions I was able to put my drain tube in my sink. The next one I got was a gravity drain which was not able to go in the sink like this one and I had to put in my shower drain. No one said anyone had to follow this video step by step, this is just showing how I used it, doesn't mean you have to use it exactly like me, i.e use as much or as little soap as you would like. But thank you for your input and have a great day 😊

Oh ur so cute!! Turkey baster? I luv that!!!
@flowers2185 жыл бұрын
I believe yours is a gravity drain which needs to have the drain hose pointing down to drain completely!!
@levette88334 жыл бұрын
There actually was a pump to drain the water out, it wasn't gravity. However the next one I got was a gravity drain.

if you put the machine higher up the water will spin out completely

I have this exact one and I lost the screw that holds the white disc thing in the bottom.of the washer (the circle that spins at the bottom there's a screw right in the center) could you please send me a picture of that screw I cannot find the right size screw anywhere and I read that you're supposed to clean out an overflow filter every 2 months I cannot find it on my machine though
@levette88336 жыл бұрын
Amanda Kegley I actually don't have this unit anymore. I believe the exact same thing happened to mine because it was leaking from the bottom. I didn't have time to get it fixed so I sold that one and bought another unit

Im not allowed to have a washer and dryer in my apt which sucks when u have 3 kids! My landlord is psycho over it so I'm wondering if u think this is something I can have in my place without getting evicted lol. My landlord livesnext to me we share a wall so thats why I'm asking. Thoughts? Should I get this?
@levette88336 жыл бұрын
Jocelyn Laboy well technically it is a washer but it's so compact that it takes up way less space then a regular washer and dryer! If you pay for your own water I don't see a problem with you getting one, however I would still talk to your landlord and explain to him that it is a better alternative to a regular washer and dryer!
@jocelynlaboy81596 жыл бұрын

lwray0311 this one actually didn't have a name, it just said portable washer and spin dryer. I can't find the exact one that I purchased but I found one close to it www.walmart.com/ip/Gymax-Compact-Mini-Twin-Tub-8lbs-Washing-Machine-Washer-Spinner/277746493

mia long Thank you... You have a great review. I just have one more question. Does your washer have a drain pump to pump the water out of the washer or is it just a gravity drain?
@levette88336 жыл бұрын
lwray0311 Thank you. It has a water pump to drain the water, the link I gave you, that one is a gravity drain. But you can easily find one with a water pump if you want to. I actually think a gravity drain would be better, because sometimes it seems like my water pump dosent pump that water very well
