Gotta say, when Valve decided to make their own ads this time, they made the right choice. This is just perfect. Shows a bit of humor, some action, a little teaser at the story, and most importantly: it briefly demonstrates the game part of the game. Nice job, Valve.

I think Valve's employee had a pretty clear answer to this a few years ago, it was like "Portal 2 haven't sold as much as we thought. If you want to be a fool making singleplayer in this day and age, I'll just sit there and watch you fail".
