Nice. I'm extremely impressed with the story, the way it links into the games and even the little details like the Aperture Science Innovators logo. The only thing I'm a little sceptical about is the date used in the main part of the story. Usable electricity only really was first generated around 1880. That said, prototype batteries have been around for generations. All in all, 10/10!

A glitch you made. The actors that played Cave Johnson & Caroline didn't match the VOICES in the game, also, 10:54-11:08, the portal gun was supposed to be blue, not orange, there was supposed to be a preset orange portal at the top right where the blue lines are, the podium was supposed to be spinning at a slow pace to stop at each of the 4 sides to fire only blue portals, & when Chell picked it up, the podium was supposed to let go, lower, & GLaDOS's voice was supposed to echo just like in the game.

Kaden Vanciel I don't think you understand... This was a fan made short film. How could he get the voices to match? Hire the voice actors for a video on KZbin? When you watch some of your favorite movies/remakes on the big screen, are they EXACTLY like the books/original films? No. The beauty of being a director is being able to make the crucial decisions that make your work stand on its own. Sorry about the rant. I just can't stand reading comments that pick away at the hard work of original KZbin filmmakers.

I love portal more than anyone but there just isn't enough material to keep making videos like this. They/This one is a very well done short film, you can tell a lot of effort was put into this. It's impressive what they were able to accomplish. But these portal short films kinda all just go no where. It's not the film makers fault, these videos are impressive it's just too hard to turn portal into a film, or even a short film, without completely expanding & adding on to the source material.... It's kind of like the super Mario movie paradox.
