I am pleased. This is what I have been waiting for. I'd intensify the fire, making a stronger and faster jet that hits the ground or has a much longer range. It would help with maneuvering, lining up sweeps and give the dragon more room to work with. With the jet of fire hitting the ground, one can aim it better and see where it's going.

I am rushing the demo so i don't have the time to find a better firebreathing effect that doesn't kill the performance. I kinda limited this one because more particles just mess with the fps but i might be able to make it longer without problems.

​@portalworlddev i'm not sure that I understand what you mean.But i'm sure it has something to do with the programming. However, have you ever played dragon guard The ancient gates one and two? If you have you may be familiar with their breath attacks for the dragon in that particular game. There were several different elemental types that you could use. My favorite was the sonic blast the blew your opponent to pieces.

You've already mastered the animation and movement system, and it looks so amazing! If I could recommend anything, it'd be some features to the combat to make it feel natural and unique. My first idea is, for some attacks, there could be a 'charge' delay of half a second before a large burst of fire that has a long range, which then dies down to a shorter range over time. The player could shoot fire again, but it'd be at the shorter range until they stop firing and wait for the dragon to regain power, sort of like a stamina system. This would add a layer of strategy, while also making it more immersive and realistic.

This is awesome, one thing that would be great si if the camera is further away so we can see most if not the entire dragon moving or make the camera closeness adjustable so people can adjust the distance themselves because that would be awesome seeing and this is gorgeous work

Honestly this has to be some of the best playable dragon/creature movement I've seen in a game. The small kick/takeoff animation at 1:20 is particularly nuts. Crazy to think this is coming from an indie dev.

Really impressive animations, I love the dragon's (wyvern's?) serpentine movements in flight as well as the way it uses it's back legs. Even if the wing shape is a bit unrealistic, flight feels very powerful and purposeful.

These are technically wyverns. Dragons have 6 limbs if you count the wings but still beautifully done and I love the noise they make.

This is amazing! The graphics and movements are just😍😍and so realistic!! I love this! My only request would be to have actual dragons and wyverns? Dragons have four legs and wyverns have two. So this creature you have created is a beautiful wyvern. I would love to see an actual dragon too though!😍And I'd totally be open to playing as a drake too! It would be interesting to see how it would be playing as a dragon with no wings!

Might want to have the wings go a bit transparent when they fill the frame, especially when the cam zooms in for precision shots. It takes up way too much screen real estate and blocks your view of other wolves. Would be pretty gnarly issue in PVP especially.

I want to try to make the camera avoid the wings and keep the center clear rather making the wings transparent. I just don't have the the time with me rushing the demo, I will defiantly look into it after.

Oh geez the flight mechanics are looking clean. Where will this be accessible? And will this accessible without having to connect to a server? I hate server based games, once they shut down you lose everything. A single player model with optional multiplayer seems great. Looking forward to seeing more dragons
