It was thanks to your coverage of Portaventura especially the parades which made us book a stay there a few years back, and after watching this well edited and enjoyable video with lots of important information that you truly are a Portaventura specialist, whilst I was a bit gutted ahead of our 5 night trip in September to hear about the changes to fast pass for hotel guests, I will just have to save a little more cash to fast pass at least on 2 days. Despite the problems with departure hopefully you went home feeling energised after a couple of days in the Sun. Thank you for your coverage - top class.

Really glad I watched this video now. I'm visiting the park next week; we're going on a family holiday but I'm the only theme park fan so will be visiting alone and have booked the 2 park 2 day ticket. I was a bit nervous but after seeing how good a time you've had I'm a bit less anxious. I'm considering getting the express pass, but I'm a bit anxious that I won't fit on some of the rides so worried about wasting my money. Do you have any advise on how to get the most out of my day(s) as a solo visitor?

Hi Andy, glad this has been helpful in some ways. Honestly I do recommend the fast pass, it will save you so much hassle with queue times. Row 4 on Dragon Khan is my tip, you'll be ok getting on things like Furius Baco and Stampida I am sure. I do struggle a bit on Shambhala. Definitely watch the Can Can West show in the Far West Saloon.

Great vlog (aside the the constant fastpass promotion - remember it's just bribery at the end of the day, by giving them more money in order to jump in front of others, often who may not be able to afford it, get fewer visits due to cost and as a result get on fewer rides that day due to longer queues) Loving the park facts and trivia added into the later vlogs though. Some really interesting stuff. Nice work

We went last week for a week and I have to say I didn't expect April to be summer level queues. We bought an unlimited fast pass our last day and got on Shambala over 20 times and that was the first time we'd ever caved and bought fast pass. It also sadly rained most of the time we were there so experiencing the park in wet weather was a new experience for us but still very enjoyable!

@@yourexperienceguide we were too to be honest, we've always gone and stayed in Hotel El Paso (since it is all inclusive although not in April) and we went for a week and when we were at Ferrari Land Red force was 2 hours long and flying dreams was 3! We were totally surprised by this.

The only ride i missed on my only visit is baco... Like u said the Q's an this a fair empty day in may everything else was fine due to single rider Q's. Is there any sign of a new coaster in the pipeline?

Queued for 2 hours for Shambala then got kicked off for "Large" thighs. I'm not overweight I look after myself by training at the gym. Hey ho lesson learned. Ps do not take the test seat for granted. I fit in this perfect yet kicked off by the operator.

Loved PV but it's in desperate need of investment, expansion and a lot of new rides. Especially for how busy it gets etc. It's no longer worth going imo. Ferrari Land doesn't count and it's a total flop. All that land used up and there's only one decent ride.

Ferrari Land seemed to be a large road block to the progression of PortAventura, there's talk that they are going to expand in that area first which would be a shame really.
