The one shown is corded. If you work in the field I suggest your first recip saw be corded as it will be a go to workhorse. If you ONLY work in a shop then go cordless. I like the DEWALT and BOSCH 12 slide mitersaws

great review--i had the usa made with the metal box--stolen! replaced with makita jr--stolen! have a couple of dewalt cheaper models--ok. based on your review i am happy to have just ordered this orbital model for light use (retired now). subscribed.
