Hey Carl. Thanks for posting all these videos. Having just bought a house with a lot of wood panelling, exposed beam ceilings and "nicotine yellow" walls I can hardly wait to start my Porter's Paint transformation.

So, must you fully strip furniture prior to painting? I have been using chalk paint which sticks to anything. Thanks for this video.

Thanks for the video. I have stripped back a small item with carving. There is still dark varnish in the grooves and on the table top due to the piece work. I don't mind this but will the paint be ok to use or should I use a primer first.

Hello Lesley, thank you for your message! You can still use the Milk Paint on your project however we would recommend using Porter's Paints primer. Specifications for priming can be found here porterspaints.com.au/paints/natural-paints/milk-paint and we would love to discuss this with you to ensure that your project is successful.
