Good stuff Smitty! I think it makes more sense to trim the piston skirt for the timing adjustment experiments. You can always get another piston much easier and cheaper than repairing or replacing the cylinder!

Smitty @ Smitty's chainsaws and firewood is building a hot rod McCulloch Pro Mac 610. He used an aftermarket piston that failed immediately. So we are in search of a 94130 piston assy and a couple of 111021 bearings if they are not supplied with the piston. Any help would be appreciated.@@johnlincicum6390

If it's a stout saw the regular chain cuts at least twice as fast. If it's sharpened and has the drags filed right it'll eat up those anti kickback chains. I accidentally bought one. Bad enough filing drags on a regular chain

Betting them rings are metric….hopefully you have some of them lying around. Damn LRB pistons. I have had the same issues with pins and bore size. It’s like they machine them to size and they shrink when cooled.
