Wow, very cool! I've used OS-9 on my CoCo3 (with 6309 and 512K), and seeing it ported to a new-retro system is pretty neat. 🙂

Just getting to this video! Nice job Boisy; I could tell there was lots of interest and hopefully a ground swell of interested parties for the K2. NitrOS-9 is indeed the OS that every piece of hardware dreams about; I'm glad that we have it on the Foenix platform. Thank you for this body of work.

Because of the Unix-like OS-9 this amounts to the coolest retro-inspired computer out there for those that are computer science nerds and love the idea of tinkering with computers of this ilk. It would be like stepping back to a PDP-11 in the mid to late 70s running early Unix, but with graphics programming fun to boot (in the next hardware generation). Kudos!

I used OS-9 several years ago in my Dragon 64 with dual 5 1/4 floppy drive. I used to practice a pseudo multiuser environment, including WordPerfect v4.2, it was unique OS in comparison to my friends were basic to load,... only games in their Spectrums.
