Praying shows you "kinda care" and you feel compelled, however if you really believe in God and think praying is going to help them, then I guess it means your empathetic towards these homeless people. However, the bottom line is that praying doesn't help, because they need a job and it's hard due to their appearance and lack of a place to regularly clean and eat. If you really cared, buy them food or just try talking to them once in a while. You'd be surprised how happy they are just to talk.

if i could afford it i would by land for ppl like this to build their own community. put up a big bathroom and shower like the parks do. let them build their own place with recycled things/donations and get teachers/skilled trade ppl to donate time to have free classes.

Go to church is my suggestion, pray to God, He will help you if you are honest. Stop addiction if you have one, read the Holy Bible for answers. Look for work. Best to you guy !
