So sad. I don't think things in Portland, Oregon have ever been worse for small businesses. With the high cost of doing business, it's impossible to continue. All I can say is it's time for a change....save Oregon.

They won't even fix the freeway problem downtown which is one of the worst on the west coast, so SCREW OREGON.

Ate there a few times and it was always very good meal and the service was top notch!

Ate there when I lived on NW 22nd and Hoyt in the 2000s. Great nachos at that time. Easier times.

Should definitely visit one last time.. The Salsa/Bachata community of Portland has a lot to do with this place too back when they did Thursday night dance nights.

Went here as a little kid in the early 2000s, as a high school kid in the early 2010s while going to Metropolitan Learning Center at 21st & Glisan and as an adult in the late 2010s! Haven’t been there for years now but I’m going to go

Why is this reporter pronouncing only a few words with a Mexican accent and the rest without? Very un-authentic and embarassing. Next she'll report on a Chynese retaraunt and use an Asian accent. Do better KGW news...

Because she speaks Spanish, they’re Spanish words, and that’s how she grew up saying them.

@@Other-br3mx she speaks in very clear, non-mexican accent, so it's obvious she can turn it off and on. If one has an accent it's always there regardless of the words spoken. It's just another example of the news playcating to one group or another an it's unprofessional and offensive

@@PhaseSkater I agree! 100% just like it's offensive that she has a perfectly clear American accent proving she does not speak with a Mexican accent except when it adds sensationalism to the story which is a ploy to make the viewer feel more connected. It's a psychological trick used by media companies. They are trained in these kind of tactics just as the over annunciation of words to add dramatic effect to the story.
