I played on a garbage high school team with the, hands down, worst coach in any sport I've ever had (and this is out of probably upwards of 60-70 coaches). Ironically, in my junior year, we were an almost .500 team, and were "co-conference champions" due to a snow-out prior to the conference championship game. We proceeded to get curb-stomped by the eventual state champion something like 105-39. It was worse than it sounds. My senior year, we lost everyone that got us a near .500 record in our bad conference. We legit might have had one of the worst HS teams in the state, if not the country. We came close, but we didn't win a game that season, and I saw 6th man minutes. Let me tell you, if I -- a 5'11 white guy with zero ball handling skills, and an only okay shot -- is seeing consistent minutes, that team is _bad._ Of the 18 games that were recorded on MaxPreps (there were a few missing), we lost by an average score of 70-45 to pretty garbage teams compared to the rest of the state. We probably could have played a competitive game with Portland Bible.

The next match I didn't get any playing time, even though the 'coach' said I would, so I quit the team after that...we only had 3 games left in the season by that point and I found out through the grapevine that they lost all 3.

Hey Portland Bible don't you worry, when I was in like 5th grade in my school's U12 basketball team, we got destroyed, buckle your seatbelts, 69-4 by another international school where 8/12 players on the team were American (and yes if you're confused my school wasn't in the US)

I once Coached a game where we entered the 4th down by 42. Due to weather both teams only had 5 players. We ended up winning when I told my team to forget scoring the ball and focus on getting contact. It worked, we fouled out two of their players and by the rulebook they couldn't finish with three. Their Coach was so irate he and his brother was waiting for me in the parking lot. 😂 They lost there too.

I played at a Bible College. We got blown out by 20-30 playing D1 teams. We knew we were going to get smoked, but new it would make us better. You see basketball is icing on the cake for those that attend a Bible College. We don't go for the athletics.

This was ridiculous. Portland State should be ashamed for having scheduled this game. There's nothing good that comes out of a matchup such as this, b/c it's not a challenge for the team that wins, it's embarrassing for the team that loses, and the only significance that could stem from this would be someone getting injured by playing in a game that served no purpose and never should've been scheduled in the first place.
