@@EmeraldLavigne because when it debuted 12 years ago it was extremely relevant for the times when it was the "hipster era". If you lived somewhere like Portland or Williamsburg or Toronto this show would hit dangerously close to home. Trust me, I used to be a part of that "scene" in my late 20s and my friends were all like this so it was very funny to see this show poke fun at us. Ironic humor was huge at the time.

manakin5 Maybe...I think often though it's because most people - eg in the 'flyover states' of the USA and what we call 'Middle England' here in the UK don't meet enough hipsters to understand the jokes! We had a very funny series in England called 'Nathan Barley' which made fun of London hipsters but it wasn't popular.
