I'm an almuna of Lewis & Clark College in Portland and was a radio DJ on campus in the 80s. KLC Radio!! A signal so strong I could get 5 listeners off-campus. 😂 I still have one of my shows on cassette. 🤙🏼😂 This sketch is so damn funny. All of us DJs had these conversations...total music snobs. I was in high school in the early 90s in CA. I was just reminiscing with an old friend about how musically snobby we were. We went to this huge outdoor punk festival and got really upset when No Doubt and Sublime played (before they were famous) because they sounded poppy. Back then any pop sound mixed with punk we rejected. 😆 Now it all sounds so silly! Lol

It's perfect because people in Portland are really like that. I lived with a couple just like this when I moved there. Their 3 yr old son was a genius 😅 and mom would spend hours writing plays with him...they had a huge record collection that they didn't listen to due to "mold" 🤷
