I so love watching you paint portraits. You’re a expert teacher,! Question.. when you sprinkle Water on the background for texture you didn’t cover the face and my question is what would it hurt your flesh tones and face if it’s sprinkled with water?

Does shade have cool color most if the time. And how to decide. I understand if the light is warm the shadows are cool, but I have hard time seeing it.

Shadow colors tend to be cool and have the colors what surrounds them. Say red shirt with have red shadow tones as well but u can use say purple as well with some red. Hope this helps,just look at the reflective areas around the shadows

Excellent video one of the best videos on KZbin I've seen on watercolor for a portrait. The only thing I don't understand that you didn't show is when you put the colors on the face and they're very bold and not Blended it's skip forward and it's Blended perfectly you didn't show us how you blend it in the colors you left out how you Blended your colors so smoothly in transition but otherwise great video
