DXO needs more love and exposure, they are doing good work for such a small company and no subscription. DXO PhotoLab is my main raw editing software.

Glad to see you back. If I use a digital camera, I love film, but I am an oldy, I use DXO and the Nik Collection, I find they do all I need.

Now that i have the Nikon D-800 and train myself i will certainly consider editing photos' Only thing i have is the out dated Roxio 5 .

I've been using NIK and DXO for a few years now. I love the interface. It's very intuitive. I found Capture software too cumbersome. I still use Lightroom classic, but my go-to is DXO.

For my editing I use Affinity Photo (no subscription required, Yay), the NIK filter set that Google gave away for free (before DXO), and often just Snapseed on my phone or iPad. Affinity allows me to install the software on all of my computers for one package license price and gives me all of the important features I would find in Lightroom or PhotoShop.

I also use ON1. It’s a newer editing program that is quite powerful and fun. Photolab is still my go to for noise reduction. DXO film pack is also fun if you like vintage looks.

Nice shoot! I use lightroom mobile - I am waiting for Nikon (or DXO) to make an app that works on my iPad Pro I do all my editing on, right now LR is the only decent option that I know for mobile workflow.

I really like using Lr on my iPad because I can use the Apple Pencil. I'd love to be able to do that with different apps!

Hi I used Adobe years ago until it came to expensive owning and changed to DxO 9 years ago I used the free trial and liked it and soon came out version 10 and later they changed to DxO Photolab and every time I upgraded and upgrading gives a nice discount and the last two versions I waited intel Black Friday moments and also use Filmpack from DxO I never used Nik Collection btw !

I switched to ON1 when Lightroom went for monthly fee only. I like it a lot because it offers more than LR but less than PShop and it is rather simple to use.

I know what you going through. I broke my back in 2019. Was left for 7 months and then had full back spinal fusion surgery. I have cages in place of vertebraes and 2 16inch rods either side of my spine and 2 8 inch rods for support. Unfortunately the operation went wrong and u was left paralyzed and in a wheelchair full time. Photography both taking and editing is my therapy and I've also set up a youtube channel. I do days in the life of a disabled photographer, I've done review of Omsystem and nikon cameras and lens that they gave sent for me to review. I am an affiliate for LuminarNEO and also use nik collection and dxo photolab 6 and love the software. Get well soon
