@friendlyjordies We didnt get muck up day banned but we got ourselves banned at least 7 times. This high school was in the area near Warilla and Berkeley High for reference. Back in the early 2000s before safe spaces and anti-bullying laws, me and my best mate got suspended a fair few times during year 10 for many well crafted pranks which we used to bully a fat kid who called our mothers a derogatory term. Once we put an animal porn gif on a floppy disk and left it in the school computers with his name written on it. Another time we hid a tampon wrapped in pubes inside his yoghurt and sealed it back up which he opened at lunch in front of everyone. Another time we gave him "hungarian chocolate" which was actually just laxative chocolate we flogged from woolies, he shit his pants in class and didnt come back to school for a week. Another time we tricked the senior I.T. guys to let us inside the head teachers computer room, we set his homepage to the fat kids head photoshopped onto obese grandma porn ps: this main computer networked settings to every computer in the school. We also made various scandalous websites about him on Geocities.com.

Pauly and fat pizza probably saved my life in my early teenage years. As a kid who was bullied and kicked outta alot of schools. I grew up in the inner west Sydney area and moved to QLD over 10 years ago. Being half Italian and talking with the woggy accent up in Qld made me different as there was almost no wogs at my school when I first moved up and fat pizza was my escape I use to come home and watch it as it reminded me of Sydney and my childhood mates who I could no longer see. I'm 25 years of age now and been through some crazy events in my life haha. Drugs. In and out of prison and everything in-between. Spanian and Pauly are 2 fkn legends and they don't realise how much of an impact they have had on my life and countless others!! They make me truly proud to be Australian.

SpongeBob is absurdist in Camus' sense of the world - the fact he is slaving away is not affecting his spirit because, well, he knows he has to slave away and there is no reason to let it get you down. @frenzalrhomb6919 Жыл бұрын
What "danger" would that be, mate? We don't have any teenagers with automatic or semi- automatic firearms. No, no f-kn' way, mate!! The ONLY "weapons" we had in the 1970s, were your two fists and maybe your two feet and your elbows and maybe, your knees if you felt up to it, but most of us needed our knees for our footy (Rugby, Rugby League or for some of the Country, Australian Rules or "Aussie Rules" Football) P.S : - Believe me when I say that, although Rugby League is a derivative of Rugby (and Grid Iron also, is based upon Rugby) they are two VERY different, and also very separate games, in that for more than a Century after it's beginning, the game of Rugby was very strictly a NON-PROFESSIONAL sport in as much, if you were to injured from the game you had at the weekend to go back to work on the Monday, or even longer, and remember, we're talking about the old, "Horse and Cart" days, well sorry pal, nothing we can do for you. Which is why, just before or just after the the turn of the century, the Rugby Union (or just Rugby, as it became known) and the Rugby League, which was a distinct and also professional game, went on their own separate ways, Rugby League became a very successful part Working Class sporting life in years before the First World War, and Rugby became the game that a "Gentleman" would play, someone who worked say, in a Coal Mine, actually digging up the Coal for a pittance, would either be a supporter, or a player for a Rugby League team, because if he was hurt in a weekend match and needed two, three or even more weeks to recover, his wife and family need not have to worry, because the Club paid their health costs or Hospital Bills, and this then, cemented the "Fan Loyalty" in these close nit Northern English towns and Cities, where Rugby League first became popular. It got its true start in Australia with the formation of the first group of "Professionals" in Sydney, in 1908. There's still a small number of Clubs around in the First Grade Competition, like the South Sydney and Eastern Suburbs sides. Thanks for listening, and a big "G'day" from Australia!!

I liked housos but my friends thought it was "Australian Trailer Park Boys" which is an apt comparison but they were trying to imply it was a ripoff and I don't think Housos, Hardy Bucks or TPB were copying each other but just Television that all focused on a particular people you don't often see portrayed in TV in a more realistic light. Also Housos got me into fat pizza. I kinda went down a Paul Fenech rabbit hole a few years back.

Met the man on multiple occasions but one that will always stand out for me is the day I was in lanecove working and a little girl was sick all over herself. Everyone walked by but noone stopped to help her. I did I went out of my way to find her mum who was in one of the shops getting dinner I decided buy her some shorts and give her mother a few towels from work to help her get cleaned up. Out of everyone that walked past that day there was this legend. He stopped and told me I was a legend for being the only one to stop and give the little girl some help. When I turned and found it to be one of my idols and a true Aussie legend I was actually shocked. My favourite celebrity.

Fat Pizza was really helped in the beginning by its timeslot, following on from MythBusters and Top Gear on Monday nights on SBS. So many people who had tuned in for those two massive shows just left the TV on, and on came this ridiculously irreverent and hilariously funny show about a pizza shop. Back in those days the SBS programming dept really knew what they were doing. I became a fan of Pauly's work then, and I still am.

Speaking of the Bee Gees and Grandmothers, the Bee Gees Grandmother lived in Maroubra Junction, on or near Maroubra Road. They used to stop and chat with the girls at Brigidine Catholic Girls School on Maroubra Road.

I'm in the crowd that would call toxic masculinity but this is clear case of growing up in a rough time creating a different kind of man. He's a product of his childhood, nothing wrong with that.

I went to De La Salle Ashfield and graduated last year in 2022. The reason why the 3 schools amalgamated was i think due to poor enrolment rates for anyone wondering.

Hate to quote a pommy film but one line from Green Street Hooligans that has always stuck with me -"Once you've taken a few punches and realize you're not made of glass, you don't feel alive unless you're pushing yourself as far as you can go."

My friends and I once tried to play a drinking game where we'd put on an episode of Houso's and every time they did something illegal we had to drink. We didn't get through many episodes before being completely sick. Good times.
