Finally, a yacht video where underwater shape of the hull is prominently featured. First thing a smart owner (and Captain) reviews is underwater profile, not who the interior designer is. For a vessel 171 feet long, her draft of 14.5 feet is not particularly deep, but that long keel run looks to make her very, very stable. A true ocean crossing vessel. If only the Bayesian had had her stability characteristics front and center in her designer's mind, as is readily apparent with this vessel.

I worked as an apprentice coppersmith at Camper and Nicholson Southampton in the 1960s the company built yachts like this and other types. It was a privilege to work on some of the famous yachts of the time like this .

Sure looks nice sailing in warm, tropical conditions, but there's no cover for the crew in bad weather / cold weather, or even just from the sun. Before that boat does a circumnavigation or an ocean passage, I assume some shelter / shade would be added?
