Thanks for putting this together, please do more of them. I know this portrait was a part of your poster series for Philadelphia teachers many years back, and the conversation starters in videos like this are excellent for engaging students, especially with virtual teaching.

Thank you for drawing our attention to this history. I wish there had been a qr code embedded in the info label to include this video snippet. Also wonder what happened to his heirs over the generations. One of the biggest advantages majority culture individuals start with is a bit of generational wealth. We're his children able to benefit? Interesting that his portrait is positioned opposite a photoessay about 4 generations of Peale family contribution to Philadelphia society.

Your need more black art in this museum. I went there today there is no black history or any black art in this museum. Why is that Philadelphia is too diverse to be having a museum filled with just white people and Asian history. Where is the black history.
