For me..... I would focus on painting the eyes first. Eyes are the window to the soul, and painting in such a short time allotted, capturing what is most important would be.... as I said... " The Eyes."

The kind of contest which might be good for television and sales, but which gives a very cheap impression about what art is, and why it's important. Artists are racehorses, competing with one another, and each one has something to say in their own unique way. Also, if your watching this video to see the paintings, there is precious little of that. The art is a sideshow to the contest. This whole thing is an abomination.
