PORTRAM Harmony - Toyama Light Rail Tram Japan

I took a trip for 3 days to Toyama City in Japan's.
I got on the tram at Toyama. It is called the "PORTRAM".
It has an official nickname "Portram", after "port" (Toyama Port) and "tram".
PORTRAM train are carriages of the residents in local communities.
This railway used to be operated as a single-track local line.
(the frequency of service is once every one to two hours)
The number of passengers on the train has decreased.
It was modified for tram services and reopened on April 29, 2006.
These trams are operated at 15-minute intervals in the daytime.
The number of passengers further increased thanks to the synergistic effects of the above.
The entire route of the Hokuriku Shinkansen linking Tokyo to Kanazawa via Toyama will opened for business on March 15, 2015.
The fastest express train on the line, the "Kagayaki," will connect Tokyo and Toyama in two hours and 8 minutes.

Lovely video. You do put a lot of effort in making your videos. I especially love that you show the same scene through different angles, from inside the train and outside. My favourite part of the video is when the driver waves to the girl and the girl starts jumping after that. That seems like a beautiful part of Japan. I should visit it when i come next time.

Very nice video! Portram is very similar to new generation trams we have in Europe. Will there be a video of Centram?

Niigata Transys, which has been manufacturing its TLR0600 series of Toyama Light Rail tram under license from Bombardier Transportation in the Germany to produce its low floor tram. I don't have a video of Centram. I was surprised because you know a lot about Japanese trains. (By now, I guess you get used to my funny English writing)
