Portsmouth to Santander Ferry Cruise - Campervan Euro Road Trip (Part 1 Oct '24)

We are back! Back again, so excited to be travelling and creating videos! This is the first part of our European Road Trip starting in October 2024 as we (hopefully) leave the UK and head to Portugal.
Join us as we head off in search of the finest European beer, cheese and wine and see where we head to next... No plans, just head to Spain via the overnight ferry cruise, find the sun and decide from there, the best type of trip!

This video has brought back such happy memories for us. It really is such a great crossing isn't it? So nice to unwind before the adventures ahead. We cannot wait to see what is to come. wifey has been going since 1968 ..... we stay in cambrils (just south of tarragona) - been so many times.. took the children in the 90's and now have a caravan stored there and take the grandchildren looool. we are back in june for a month. love your channel thanks xx

Enjoyed your vlog, really good. Just in case you decide to pop into Gibraltar on your travels, make sure you have your return ferry ticket or they might not let you back into Spain, as they get a bit zealous on the gib/Spain border, crossing back into Spain.

Hi Gill yes you can Definitely take dogs, they have a separate area for dog cabins and the owners go down to their vehicles first on disembarkation 🥰 it looked a great way to travel, we would consider with Mollie in the future as looked very good for both owners and dogs 🐶

i can tell you are not proper pet owners leaving your dog in van for 33 hrs very cruel you can take them in your cabins just get a pet cabin with no carpets im a trucker and yes i take my dog with me in my cabin always on the piss like other campers

Oh gosh no 😳 we would never leave Mollie in the van on her own like that, she's not with us on this trip for a couple of reasons. She's a long haired border collie and doesn't like the heat, anything above early 20C's and she is uncomfortable so we don't take her to hot places. Also we had some recent family bereavements and she is very good company so she stayed at home with our family, she likes a fuss and stroking so is very popular with the extended family 🥰🐶 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, be interested to hear what you think of this crossing as a trucker compared to the other routes?
