Thanks again for making these great informative videos. We are going in April to do a road trip and was wondering about the car rental process. Who did you rent from, insurance, tolls, etc. thanks

Thanks so much for watching. I booked on Expedia.. they always have free cancellation. We use a credit card with insurance. The tolls were everywhere but you can set for no tolls on google maps.. sometimes we just needed to get there faster so we spent about $126 cdn $ for 10 days. RecordGo. No issues. We always video the car and point out any damage.. we always spend extra time doing this and make sure it’s on the contract. They were really honest and good to us. They are automatic tolls, they read the plate. They charge you for them after they get the report. It was really easy and we felt very comfortable with the what we were billed for. Hope this helps! I used Expedia. We picked up in Porto and dropped off in Lisbon. It was a manual.
