Hello, Dear Soup Lover!! Today I will show you How to Make Portuguese Kale Soup. This is a healthy soup that is sure to warm you up on a cold winter day. The recipe is based on Ruth O'Donnell's Portuguese Kale Soup Recipe. It is a Kale Soup with Portuguese-style sausage. I used Goya chorizo sausage, but any other spicy sausage would work.
🔴 INGREDIENTS
⭕️ Olive Oil
⭕️ Onion
⭕️ Carrots
⭕️ Celery, Garlic
⭕️ Dinosaur Kale
⭕️ Tomatoes, Goya chorizo
⭕️ Bay Leaves
⭕️ Garbanzo Beans
⭕️ Chicken broth
⭕️ Salt, Pepper
⭕️ White Wine Vinegar
🔴Cooking Process:
2 large onions, 3 large carrots, 3-4 ribs of celery-chop all in similar sized pieces and sauté in olive oil. Next, mince 1/2 bulb of garlic and cut 8-10 Goya chorizo links into half-moons. Add to the pot. Then, chop up 1-2 bunches of kale. Stir into the soup. Add a few bay leaves, a few cans of rinsed garbanzo beans and enough broth to cover everything. Simmer for 30 min. Season with salt, pepper, and white wine vinegar.
