Wow, what a stunning manor house! It has rich architectural details that will please any buyer. I liked the high ceilings, wooden panelled doors, granite stone and generous room sizes. I'd have preferred if it wasn't situated directly on the road, but a few metres back, allowing a small front garden. Plus that plot size is enormous! A lot of work to maintain.

@lolitabonita08 dogs are awesome, my entire world and best friends. We haven't done anything on the house, it's been a year of disasters and I didn't want to film any bad times. We have a little vlog lined up of our grandkids coming to stay for the summer, it's mainly for a keepsake for them but we will publish it. Sarah can't move yet as we are flat broke but it's coming. I need to sell some houses but after being let down so badly on that front it's difficult to get enthusiastic. Thanks for commenting and reaching out ❤️

@@destino2portugal I am so sorry to hear about the bad troubles...I am in the same boat but i keep my positive view and waiting for God's will. Things happen for a reason and 99.9 percent of the time is because there are lessons that we mus learn and master. Meditate on that...ask God what is it that He wants for you to learn...try to view the events as a movie and pay attention...the clues will be in front of u...(talking from my own experience)..doing that u master depression which is a demon possing as depression... and is here to tormet us and loose faith. Think other avenues to make money...give thanks every day all day for what u have now and u will see that things start to improve slowly but surely. I find my self wanting to do things and then blocks start showing up..that is God telling me "no girl, this is not good for you...is danger ahead ((or I have something better ahead)). Example.my car broke down since first week of march...cost to fix it 5K ..ain't happening...learning experience = patience and trust...so for some reason i can not have my car and have to rely on neigbors to take me to pick up my food...I chaged my food intake to mostly meat, my health improved incredibly well, loosing weight...so u see one thing is a boulder on front of our path and then u discover something amazing ahead that will fix or improve who we are. Blessings to you and yours... Ps. another addition to my flock ...now I have four dogs all dumped on the streets -last one is kuki -she is doing better- and Lucy that was dumped on a field. SUcess with both of them so far. Big hug and hand in there do not loose faith!!!

One reason is the area mate. As soon as you start moving north prices go up. The roof was also a massive outlay, the solar panels another massive expense. We filmed a similar Manor House in a less favourable area, less land and the roof would have cost 60k, it was 175k. I think it's about a fair market price myself. I am an architectural historian considering a move to Portugal. I hope to visit fur the first time in the late spring, 2025. The tile on the wall is Latin, and as best I can read, it says, "The devs made this free for us." I concede that attributing Dev to "God" might well alter the phrase. As a historian, I'd try to date the tile first. "Dev" needs some fleshing out. Elderly historic sages of the town might be helpful. I enjoy your tours, especially when you recognize and point out architectural detail. It seems that there are always viewers who don't recognize the value of architectural embellishments in older homes and think prices are exorbitant for artistic amenities that enrich life in these spaces.
