The 🌎 is basically saying they don't count as human or as people but as a disease or vernom to our society. They are human & they do have rights like everyone else; this shows as a community & society we are not perfect people; we are all dying to survive & stay afloat in this 🌎. 😟🙏🇺🇸

Angelica was told much earlier than the rest of the cast, to prepare her next moves. She was offered another position around the same time and was able to accept the role because of her death. I know I'm late to respond, but... This death was on purpose. They didn't want a supporting character or a reoccurring character -- or even a guest character -- to die in front of you. They wanted you to feel the grief of learning, growing and loving someone and lose her/them/him to violence, because many of us in and out of the community have been met with that grief and that pain of losing someone who's family... Someone who deserves a happy ever after and... Never gets to, and if you've never had that pain -- that "It's not fair!" punch to the gut in real life, you have now, and I'm so sorry for your loss

I feel so silly but I kept saying, “please let this be a dream or prank”. I loved Candy’s character so much! There was something about her strength, her gumption, her drive! After I thought “I have to call my trans friend and see if she is ok. “. Anyone who had been beaten down knows Candy.

I agree. I kept thinking it was Praytell's dream so he could be a little more nicer to her. But I went to twitter and Janet Mock tweeted the actress that she can't wait to see her in her new role. So I'm thinking now that Janet has the deal with Netflix, she will use the actress again. I didn't want Candy to die, and I didn't want the actress to lose a job. So knowing she will be working with Janet again, makes me feel little better:)

Candy wasn't my favorite, but the way she died ripped my soul apart. I'm a CIS woman, but that doesn't mean I can't relate to what she went through having survived an assault myself as well as seeing some of my trans loved ones not surviving something similar to Candy. No matter how you identify yourself, I want you all to know I see you for who you TRULY ARE. And that you're BEAUTIFUL ❤️

For those that didn't know, Angelica was informed much earlier than the rest of the cast, to prepare her next moves. She was offered another position with the same network and writers around the same time and was able to accept the role because of her death. I know I'm late to comment, but...

This episode had me in shivers and crying. I felt it. It was so raw and so real. Great job! Hopefully cis gender folks become more sensitive and supportive to an already oppressed and marginalized part of our community. ⚧🏳️‍🌈💔

This episode was a lot for me. Emotionally draining to the point that I had to pause it many times.

This is a Very Enlightening, well Thought out, excellent Show, That deals with some Harsh realities that people need to come to terms with. I have some beautiful Transwomen friends and to me, they are some beautiful individuals who I see as women, like any other Woman, as far as I see it. They deserve to be treated as such.As a Man secure within myself,I never understood those who Secretly Desired them, and yet internally are So Insecure to the point of Violence .Our Society is filled with Hypocrisy. Hopefully I'm sure this Groundbreaking Show will open some Minds for the better.

This is dedicated to Ms. Gita of Alabama. A trans woman I barely knew in college - but her mysterious death went unknown and unreported. I’ll never forget when I heard. Please stop killing our sisters and brothers. We love, value, and support you all 💖
