The only reason I agree is because they have equipment on these ships to constantly monitor water conditions in real time. That being said cruise ships on several occasions have been hit hard in storms, in fact there's a video on here of people on a cruise ship being hurt from a ship tipping, the furniture flies past the screen at least 3 times from the ship rocking, one guy hits his head so hard on a pole that I wouldn't be surprised if he was air lifted to a hospital later.
