Thank you so much Colleen! My interest in MLM companies began around 5 years ago when people I knew started trying to recruit me into various MLMs. None of it sat right with me and that’s where my interest in researching the MLM business structure came about. I’m passionate about educating others so they don’t fall victim to it!

Hahahaha….I suppose I should be embarrassed to say….but I love “window shopping” on the feed and find stuff all the time….and buy stuff🤷🏼♀️ But I’m not the average age or type of buyer on Poshmark. This video definitely helps know how the average shopper does things which can only help my sales! And dido on others asking for a tutorial on your “New Arrivals” post. Keep up the great work! P.S. If anyone else out there wants to admit to shopping as I do you’d make me feel a little better 🙈

Thank you for sharing this valuable information! I’m a brand new Poshmarker & I’ve made three purchases (very easily), so I thought I’d give selling a try (a little tougher). Watching your videos has greatly helped me with how to maximize a listing so it has the best chance at selling. One question I have is regarding style tagging. I know tag words are important to help buyers find your listing so I try to choose the best three words to describe the item. My question is if you choose three words that are also included in your title and/or description, does that make them redundant? Thanks for all your help! You are truly appreciated 😊

Since you are the queen of experiments on Posh, lol. You should look into this and report back to us as this is a total game changer if true. Mine is still set to just shared as well. I’m adding keywords and also posh has increased the number of words you can use in the title
@rvw83 жыл бұрын
Not sure if you've noticed this but it seems like Poshmark recently increase the amount of characters they allow in the title of the listing and also I think within the description box. I only noticed this bc I tend to be more wordy with my descriptions to provide as much info to potential buyers as possible and I used to get so frustrated having to edit and rework my copy so it would fit. Anyway, I'll probably be going through my older listings and seeing about adding more descriptive terms to my titles! Great experiment as always!

Hey hannah! Quick question for ya, I’m new to selling on Poshmark and recently I have had multiple people like 2 or 3 sometimes 4 things from my closet, but never actually send me an offer. Do you suggest sending out an OTL on each individual item? Should I create a bundle for them and send them an offer on everything? Or do both so they have different options? What do you suggest?
@amandapaul92073 жыл бұрын
Not Hannah obviously 🙂 but yes, you need to initiate offers if you want to make sales. If they like multiple items, send a bundle offer with a note thanking them for visiting your closet and to let you know if they have any questions. If they want to change the order or pursue a purchase, they will. Get used to likes without follow through; this is just part of the Poshmark experience. But absolutely, you should get used to making offers and taking the initiative if you want to make sales. Be genuine with potential buyers: find a balance between initiating and enticing without being aggressive or irritating 🙂it'll take a bit to get your groove but you'll get it if you're committed. I've been doing it for a year now and make enough to live from it now. Good luck 🧡

I am a newbie seller of one week. When you say it is beneficial to share my closet, is it only the share with my followers? Or am I missing something? Can you elaborate please? Thank you! I just found you today and you are a great calm, teacher of sorts LOL! Couple things, do you use or stay away from emoji's in the title line? What does it mean share to the top of search results? How does one do that?nAnd is it rude to ask what your closet name is so I may just see how you have things set up? Thank you either way on that...
@rvw83 жыл бұрын
Oh one more question that came to mind. From the people who purchased from you via a Posh Party - did you have that item chosen as a host pick? I've stopped asking to be considered for host picks bc the process of asking was time consuming and all I ever got from it was a gazillion comments with emojis on my HP item. Never any sales.
@HannahAlonzo3 жыл бұрын
Great question! No, none of the items that sold were host picks

I’d be curious how many people filter the searches. Like when they search an item do they filter from low to high.

Hannah - I’ve noticed you say you have a “very small closet” more than once and state having 100-120 items. What is an average sized closet?
@HannahAlonzo3 жыл бұрын
It all depends on your perspective I suppose! I do this part time and I have about 100-120 items but I also know people who do this part time and have 500-600 items. And then I know of full-time resellers with 1000-2000. I just say “small closet” in my videos to give some context for when I say that I share 10 times a day. Obviously wouldn’t be possible if your closet had thousands of listings!

I have had sales this way too. Results of these experiments vary by what the seller typically does so since she doesn't share others it makes sense she wouldn't have data to support it's been helpful. She gets a lot of other shares from other people but they might be bots or people who just share and never shop or know shes a youtuber so they share her closet in support. To hit that other target audience it's a different method and takes out daily time to work towards to really see sales from it. I also get sales from following buyers who like similar items. These people have 0 listings but some see I followed them and as shoppers, their curiosity brings them to my closet and since I only targeted likers of similar items and styles, they end up liking or buying. Still the take away is most people shop from their searches and that is the number one way to make sales. The other methods bring in sporatic sales but they prob dont rank nearly as high. This took a lot of time and its still fantasic information but we would prob see slightly different results from those who do the follow and share routines.
