I love your videos and I look forward to watching the last two in this series! My question for you is, what is the etiquette for using stock photos in your listing? I know that it’s technically not allowed by Poshmark, but people do it anyway. I try if possible not to use stock photos from someone reselling. I think I got one from a place called Lyst,. But if the only stock photo I can find is in Poshmark or another reselling site, can I “steal” their photo and use it in the final listing? Maybe you will go over this in later videos, but just asking in case you don’t...

Wouldn't you enter the items in the spreadsheet and then remove the tags? How do you know how much you paid per item when entering in the spreadsheet if you already removed the tag?

Lori, super informative video. I don't have a spreadsheet --- just a notebook:( But growing, so I will soon look into that & an inventory system. Your stock photos are for Poshmark right? Do you use them on eBay? I only do my own photos. Oh well, always learning. Thanks for part 3 --- they have all been extremely helpful with excellent content! Hope your pup is doing better!

I try to avoid using stock photos on EBay. They are such a controversial part of what we do.... Lucky is hanging in there. The anti inflammatory meds seem to have helped the pain management. He's got a little pep back. We are still carrying him everywhere but he's in better spirits. Thanks for asking! xo

you just became my favorite seller. I loved this. I need a spread sheet my notebook is awful. I plan to rewatch this over and over. I like how organized and easy you make it. Also love your voice so calm and clear and to the point. at some point I need to learn to use my computer. I did not even know it was possible to do all the research from the same screen. Wow you blew my mind. Great content. .

Hola Lori, I am loving these series,! I am a novice in this biz; just selling my over stuffed closet for the moment, so I started with a notepad and a pen but my handwriting is so terrible and I have so many clothes that I have moved to a spreadsheet 😂. I actually find entertaining the process of figuring out what works for one 😉.

Love seeing the soup to nuts process! Thanks! As for inventory spreadsheets, I liked the basic format of the reports you can download from Poshmark’s “sales reports” area. I use the inventory report for intake and the sales report can be sorted in anyway I need to look at what is selling, average sale prices, etc . I run that report monthly but it can also be run cumulatively for the year. I’m only doing this part-time and so far these get the job done. I add sections for Mercari sales on the same spreadsheet to keep everything in one place. Always interested to learn better ways to manage this process!

That's a great system. Why reinvent the wheel? It's nice that Poshmark has those reports.

I would love to see a video about saving pieces.. for example, I picked up these amazing Tory Burch wedges but they have scuff marks on the wood wedge part. OR a silk blouse I picked up that has a stain. Do you ever have times where you take something to a dry cleaner to see if they can fix it? I worked at a dry cleaner as a teenager many years ago, and I was amazed at what they could do for stained and damaged garments.

Thanks Lori! You always have such helpful info : ) I've gone without a clear inventory system for 1.5 years and it's really becoming unmanageable! I JUST started my spreadsheet last week and am reorganizing all 300+ items in my inventory. UGH . . . better late than never!

“My spreadsheet is quite primitive” 😂 talk to me about it... I actually downgraded myself from spreadsheets to “post it” notes... first let me tell you I watch you to relax and for entertainment and I love the long videos. I don’t sell clothes or shoes. I sell on Etsy, 100% vintage home decor hard goods, heavy breakables that cost a fortune to ship, with the occasional vintage jewelry... I found spreadsheets a waste of time as it was more complicated to find my items via spreadsheets than via my old big notebook... those draft-listing informations I actually set by hand on Post it notes after I have cleaned, pictured, weight and measured the new items... I do have SkU written in my old notebook. For each item, its location in my inventory, but I’m too lazy to go through and set them, one by one, on hundreds of items in my Etsy shop... guess we all have our bottlenecks 🤷🏻♀️ Have a fabulous week.

Hey Lori! I love your content but don’t get to watch many of your videos. I do follow a number of channels but it seems I only ever watch the shorter videos. I have limited attention span, it seems. Lol. But in seriousness, I watch KZbin when I’m between tasks so I tend to only watch the ones under 20mins, or up to 30mins before bed. Have you considered doing some short informational videos in between some of your longer hauls? I really like your content and style, I just never have time to sit down with your videos anymore 😔

I'm not the best at short videos NIkki! I'm sorry. I'm considering doing 3 videos per week and breaking things down a bit. I know a lot of people watch my video in two parts. xo Thanks for your feedback.
