Have been following your wonderful blog for a couple of months after happily coming across it. You and your family are just delightful...warm, funny and such a great escape from daily insanity in America. I don't watch the videos in any order but always so enjoyable. Sending love, a huge thank you and best wishes from New Mexico, USA.

I enjoy your vlog exactly how it is. And I live in Italy! Haha. Always stay true to yourself is a good rule for life. I was born in London UK and when a child, my parents moved to Canada after WWII. When I was 19 I moved to the US and stayed there for almost 45 years. It was a good country to work in during those years, and to raise my son. I am retired now and live in Lunigiana in northern Tuscany since 2011 when I bought and renovated my ancient stone house in a small borgo. I am still learning how to speak Italian, and how to cook some of my favorite Italian recipes. I'm 72 and live alone, but like it this way. My only son and his family live in Los Angeles. Typically I'm there now for a month or so. Oh well. I also go for Christmas. Not sure how travelling internationally will pan out in the immediate future. We will just have to wait and see. So that's me! A 72 year old adventurer, and still ticking! Buona Festa della Mama Nicki!

Your videos are not flat nor boring, theyre real to life. The life of the day to day in Italy, its not always some flashy show like other channels and thats perfectly ok. I like things that are more real day in and day out than the staged stuff anyday. Favorite youtube channel, Kylie Flavell

Ciao, Nicki. Your videos are great and I love your ramblings 😊 Don't change anything. Everyone has their own style. Just be yourself. Your videos make me nostalgic for Italy. I sold my tiny little house in Puglia last August. It was the best thing as maintaining a property at a distance of 8000 miles not recommended. I watch Kylie and Stephanie as well. That panino looked so good.

Sailing La Vagabonde is one of my favourite channels too.. "Don't put down yourself".. or in Italian: non buttarti giù: your channel is very good and you don't travel so much as they do.. so found good topics is even more challenging. I found your channel pretty recently like 2 weeks ago.. and I saw already almost all your videos: please make more 🙂.. I don't like videos from people just landed in Italy and start complaining or making comparisons too much.. some of those are based only on that. You are been in Italy for a long time: you have the knowledge and experience to talk about Italy in a proper way. It's also good to talk about other parts of Italy not only the very famous ones.. Positano should thank you to put so much efforts to make the world know how beautiful is this small town.

Your Vlogs are absolutely fantastic and fascinating (They are, in no way, flat or boring.). I have been to Italy (on business) several times. However, my trips always took me to Northern Italy (Milano), so I have never had the opportunity to visit Southern Italy. My fondest wish is to visit the Amalfi Coast. Because I am retired from the U.S. Navy, I have the benefit of being able to fly anywhere in the world, at no cost, aboard U.S. military aircraft. The nearest military base to the Amalfi Coast is in Naples. However, because I would be at the mercy of military flight schedules, the trip would not be without delays and possible changes. I love the way you are so conversational and real. Watching your Vlogs is like a friend (you) giving me a personal tour and insight into your life and the beautiful sights in and around your home. Carlo(s)? is always working in and around your home and property and seems quite content in doing so. He has a wonderfully warm and friendly personality and smile, which makes me want to meet him and be one of his friends. I love the way you make little quips about him, especially when he is not being cooperative with you. Your videos are beautifully shot and beautifully edited, including your choices of bed music. I have viewed several different Vlogs of Positano and the Amalfi Coast, but yours are far and away the most beautifully done, entertaining, and informative! Thank you so very much for sharing your life and the magnificent land in which you live. Hopefully, someday, I will have the privilege and pleasure of meeting you and your family in Positano. Meanwhile, God Bless always and take care.

I also love the chateau diaries but here are a couple of others I follow- Jay Swanson ( an American who lives in Paris) Emma Lefebvre ( A Canadian artist) Castle ten Berghe ( A Belgian family who live in a beautiful chateau) I have LOTS more but I won’t bore you with them all.... I have to say at the moment, you are my favourite and I try to fit in an Amalie coast catch up whenever I can. Only another 8 months of your videos to go before I am upto date 😂😂

Chateau de Lelande...Stephanie also does live chats with her 'mummy' Isabelle who lives half the year in South Africa and the other half at the Chatea. Sadly she has been separated from her second husband Percy who was stuck in S Africa during lockdown. There are quite a few work a ways also helping out and as her subscribers have increased so have her patrons which means that the long list of jobs at the chateau are starting to be done. She's hoping to get the lake back too as the local water authorities told her totally wrong info and she had to empty the lake. She's also joined forces with her best friend Michael Petherick ,, his channel is Doing it ourselves..In comparison yours are different yes, but by no means boring, your country is beautiful and the views from your garden are magnifico. Never ever compare yourself to any one else. You are unique and are loved for it. Thank you for sharing. I love the skirt by the way... where's it from?

I notice someone has already mentioned her but I've been really enjoying Kylie Flavell's content. She's a filmmaker and produces the most stunning videos - true escapism I think. She has lived in Positano, Rome, Florence, all over the world actually, so if you don't know her already you might find it interesting to see someone else's take on your hometown & beyond! Thank you for the consistent content, have loved your channel for quite a while now and your videos never fail to soothe me when I'm stressed out.

Many of my KZbin interests seem to be agrarian in nature. 🐐🐑🌿 Weed Em and Reap is a family homesteading with goats and chickens and a pond in urban Arizona. Sandi Brock is a sheep farmer in rural Ontario sharing her lambing and haying successes and failures in a very genuine way. Garden Answer is my go to channel for everything gardening! Laura and family are the real deal! I also watch Hercules Candy in Syracuse New York make sweets as 4th generation candy makers. Their KZbin channel increased sales so much that they were able to move out of the basement and into a retail space!

I prefer his walks... Your content is a delight...it's genuine and delightful....do your own thing...tread your own path..or in your case ...walk your own steps.. Keep doing what your doing...don't be influenced...some do over produce their content...

Your videos are far from boring. I love how calm and active you all are at the same time. Sadly, I'm back to work, we have restaurants. My peace of home is now a bit disturbed, but happy to be working. I have been watching Chateau Diaries, as well. Love this channel. Diane in Denmark, she is so happy, inspiration for cleaning. I prefer to cook vs clean. She gets me going every morning, fire under my hiney. The Bucket List Family! Wonderful way of viewing the world. Some Good News, All good news in this trying time with lots of Hollywood to make you laugh and cry. I love that you hike up and clean pools in pretty skirts! I'm completely envious of that gorgeous bed in the garden. Much love sent from Atlanta. A view from my window is a page on Facebook, you might like this, to end. Stay safe 💕

Nicki you're absolutely perfect. I found your channel late so I've been binging on all your posts everyday since! To be honest I prefer your channel over chateau diaries because you offer more realistic content+ideas and advice for your viewers whereas stephanie's channel is more for escapism and lately has more about her guests/volunteers than the chateau. I also love being part of your everyday life joining your friends, family..etc and that makes us feel like we're part of your family❤thank you for offering so much to us😊

No your vlogs are not boring. It’s like having a friend who just happens to live in a beautiful place, has a handsome husband who is cheerful and kind and a sweet daughter, a wonderful dog, sweet cats and noisy chickens. I would like to share my favorites: Ellen Fisher, she lives in Hawaii with her husband and children on their own land, they also grow their own food but lead a plant-based lifestyle. Kylie Flavell is the reason I found your channel, she produces beautiful videos about her adventures in Italy. Also, Molly Burke, she is a Canadian young lady that is living in LA now and documents her life as a blind woman. She has a beautiful soul. Also, your vlogs are not boring! They are my favorite of them all. Hope you're doing well. xo

Don’t think you need a chateau or “fabulous people”. Your kindness , your love of life, your loving care to your animals and your family including hard working Carlo. He is a treasure and you both work well together including your beautiful Skye. I went on holiday in Amalfi in 1994 and never forgot how happy I was at that time. Hi Nicki & Carlo, Just enjoy seeing the wonderful coastal area you have as a home etc., your list of favourite blogs match my own bar one. The difference is a man thing which means my second choice is “YBS aka Young Bloods” from Australia. 1 and 3 are Stephannie with friends, plus La Vagabond. Recently a new stream of linked sites from Michael and Family/friends have developed the KZbin cash cow for their projects to some degree of success. This does not seem to be your driver, thus making your series so relaxing and enjoyable to watch. Best wishes from Chris, Cleguerec, Brittany.

@@poppymonster1000 You've taken the words right out of my mouth! Also, it is all well and good enjoying your own company and not need others to make you happy (and that took me a good few years to master) but its when we take it to far in the wrong direction that we make it hard for ourselves! Never mind. We'll use our hobbies or interests to get back on track, socially.. Good luck with your vlogging. (Hope I understood your first msg right)

Ah ha! Remembered another one, fairyland cottage, about slow living and eco living, but I mostly like it because of her relaxing Irish lilt and the nice things she makes.

Nicki I really enjoy your Positano Diaries! It's the first video I watch on Sundays and I always look forward to it. I enjoy travel vlogging, so I highly recommend Kara and Nate - they've been traveling the world for 4 years and have vlogged in 100 countries. Usually quite interesting - their Italy videos in Le Marche were outstanding. I also enjoy Prowalk Tours, but they can be long so I wish he'd do a condensed version more often. Lastly, another young couple doing interesting travel videos is The Endless Adventure. Cheers and Happy Mother's Day!

Enjoying your videos and looking forward to a trip to Tuscany. Had it all set for mid October...who knows. A favorite vlog of mine is Kylie Flavell. She is from Australia and is a photographer and film maker living in Florence. I think she is delightful. And if you miss England, Kirsten Wick is a German living in England and she and her husband visit lots of lovely places in England.

I watch Mossy Bottom - living on a small holding in Ireland , and enjoy the ex pawers - British couple who travel in their small van and live in Spain. But your vlogs are the ones that bring the warm Italian sun into my living room! 😊

I love your vlogs! They are not flat and boring. I have watched the Château vlog and do not care for it all. Much rather watch your vlogs. Loved all the wild flowers you gathered on your walk. Love and hugs from Texas! 💜

So sweet of Carlo to build a swing bed for the neighbor! I know yours is under a cover but it just occurred to me that it rains there - a lot - and so I wondered if it gets soaked. I think it's so romantic - I live in California where the summers are brutally hot and the air quality is the worst - so I doubt I will have one. Love to see you enjoying yours!

I've come here from "The Chateau Diaries" where someone mentioned in the comments that you enjoyed watching Stephanie's blog . As a freelance stylist all my life, now retired , I really enjoy watching your vlogs and your life in Positano with Carlos and your daughter Sky. Don't worry about comparing yourself to Stephanie's vlog...you have the same soul. Please introduce us to Carlos' family when you can. Meanwhile, the 500 steps are worth it for that unbelievable view and garden...ciao bella! would love to see pictures of you and Carlos when you met,..New Year..2000. bisous from Montreal xxx momo

Don't worry you are doing a fantastic job Nikki. Since you mentioned Sailing La Vagabonde, I watch Sailing SV Delos and Sailing Yacht Florence a British couple and we aren't sailers! Otherwise, I watch space tech like Everyday Astronaut and Scott Manley since there is engineering in our family with one in the space industry. Can't forget Formula 1! Go Ferrari! We had planned a September trip to Sorrento to see family I haven't seen since the early 70's! I hope we can still go. The memories as a youngster spending many summers there in my fathers home town are fond ones and calling me. I can't forget the Vagabrothers channel, they are family friends from here in San Diego

Mine are totally different from each other. One is yours obviously! , another is Bros of Decay (they go all around the world exploring abandoned homes), another is Life in Jars? (He grows tiny ecosystems in jars), and another is Craiglist Hunter (he runs a pawn shop and records its day to day activities), another is Nicola White (she goes mudlarking in the river Thames and creates art with her finds), last but not least Special Books by Special Kids (he interviews people living with disabilities and I’ve learned so much).

Watching back through your old videos and it’s funny and heartwarming to hear you talk about Stephanie Jarvis’ chateau vlogs in your video and compare your own to hers, and what you think of your own. Like many other subscribers, I feel the same way about your blogs in comparison to my own - not that I have many videos yet and a whole 17 (!) subscribers - but your world is fascinating and interesting and peaceful, and inspiring/uplifting, and like you with Stephanie, one day I’d love to come down to Positano and visit you. I can dream. I’ll definitely be in your neck of the woods at some point - and the invitation is extended to you for a visit when you’re next in Cornwall.... 😉😘 a good reminder though not to compare our lives to others and find ourselves wanting - we’re all amazing and we all have something unique and special. You do you... and it’s fab!

I LOVE your videos. In the mid 80's I lived in Positano. It was much quieter then than it is now. I have been following Sailing La Vagabonde and also Jonna Jinton since their inception. Hauser is always wonderful as is Kara and Nate; My Self Reliance; The Holler Homestead and Justin Rhodes. Thank you for your always interesting content. It brings back such wonderful memories!

I also recommend Doing it Ourselves with Michael Petherick, I am already a big fan of Stephanie’s. Pick up Limes is another good one, a young Canadian woman living a simple, healthy life in Amsterdam. She has a great perspective and wise beyond her years. Love Jonna too. And I love and look forward to every vlog you present. I know you’ve been doing this for quite awhile and I’ve been following you for over a year now I think. Not one has been boring and I’m just as excited to see one drop in for viewing as I was back then. Everyday life while perhaps a little tedious for you at times is what makes your vlogs so addictive I think. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s wonderful. Having said that I’d hate for you to grow bored and stop so change up whatever you choose but please keep the daily stuff coming also 💗💗

We have been watching a blogger from Miami “Traveling Robert” he’s an RVr, not glamorous, he has a live chat on Fridays 6pm EST, also does a live concert on Saturdays, just a regular guy, traveling the states. Also, “The More we Explore”, Utah RVr couple, into trail cycling, just regular Americans, spend a lot of time in the beautiful national parks. When I need a Nonna fix, I watch a NJ Italian grandma cook “Buon-a-Petitti”, she’s adorable.
