I can’t believe wine came in those huge glass vases 🤪. So lovely to see children getting involved in the kitchen cooking. Self isolation has its benefits as we can connect better with our children and make contact with friends in new ways. Not surprised to see Carlos in the kitchen helping out, there doesn’t seem to be anything he can’t do 😊

❤️❤️You have the most wonderful home….full of style and personality. Who could want for more? I love all the unique touches - especially the brilliantly upcycled parts. You and Carlos have designed the absolutely perfect place to live………except for ONE thing, a transporter like on Star Trek so you don’t have to walk up all these steps. You just stand on the beach, press a button and you’re suddenly sitting at home with all your heavy bags of shopping conveniently sitting on the table. I’ll just assume Carlos is already planning something like that in his magical brain! ❤️❤️

I love this video. Elizabeth's girls are so cute. Nice to see Skye at home and baking a cake.. Carlos is so talented for creating a cozy home. Holly looks like she longs for an adventure. Your "girls" appear to be content..I am going to prepare lasagne with hard boiled eggs and the red sauce with carrots and peas next time dinner calls for lasagne. All together looks yummy. The well of dough brought me back to my helping my grand mom in the kitchen making ravioli and, with potatoes, gnocchi. Your videos are so inspirational. Take care and be safe.

I love your upcycling, it is very clever and very inspiring. We have stuff around the house and I used to get mad when my dad wanted to keep everything saying that he will soon find a good purpose for everything. Of course, he never did and I used to put stuff into the garbage bin without him knowing. This video reminded me of him, may he rest in peace. Best wishes from Transilvania in June 2021!

So much to love about this Nicki. It's pretty wonderful to have such a creature partner, you both have made good use of many things others would have thrown away. I saw another use for old Bed springs and that was to hang it and intertwine lights through it. Makes a wonderful ceiling fixture both indoors and out. How lovely to have a pasta making lesson from your friend. I haven't made pasta for many many years and I think I'll give it a go today, thanks for showing how easy it really is. The other day you made a zucchini or courgette as you call it pasta sauce. I'd love the recipe for that if you could share that would be wonderful. I'll bring a wee bit of Italy to my day, and it will encourage me to resume my Italian language learning. Grazie bellisima.

Your home is really your paradise and you can see all the love and hard work you have put into it. Really enjoying relaxing watching your updates, knowing that during these tough times we are not alone and some enjoy the same things. As many are, I am seperated from my kids just now which is tough, but spending time in the kitchen, as if they were here, making my own almond milk gelato mixtures and foccacia with pesto in the middle, basically getting creative with the few ingredients left, must say, home, the kitchen, really is the heart of things and a real therapy. Look forward to the next vlog. Keep safe and well
