I know you posted this in 2020, but watching Carlo make his pasta al forno reminds me of my mother-in-law’s lasagne! She used egg & salami too, but with hand made lasagne sheets, which was always done for special occasions I.e. Easter, Christmas etc.❤️ the family would come over to all help prepare it. Sadly, she has dementia now & cant remember much, but I’m so glad I got to learnt her recipes whilst she was still with us 💖 She was very much like you guys, don’t waste anything, use what you have. Since I’ve been watching your videos, I can see why, so thank you for showing your life as it is 😘👍

O my what a lovely retreat that you have made in your garden Nicki!..love getting insight into life in Italy; just happy that not all sad since such a crisis from the first wave of the pandemic. You are really in a good spot in Positano, clearly. I live where not such concentrated population (Ottawa Canada) so I am interested how it is in busier places as well. I know the financial hardship is great, but I bet it's lovely to have your town to yourselves without tourists. Thank you for putting the name of the dish Carlo cooked after you cooked in the title because I needed to rewatch the video were you made the zucchini with pasta and had difficulty finding it. This will be the second time I've made it, delicious! Also, I made the Dorset Apple Cake and it is a hit too. When I looked up the recipe for the cake, it was recommended to serve with custard and remembered you mentioned making it to use up milk. Would you please bring us along the next time you make it? It would be impossible to express how much I enjoy these videos and all of the work of you and your friends to make them! I totally miss Positano, as we have celebrated many milestone anniversaries and birthdays there, and I always feel the streets and shops as you walk, even the fantastic pharmacy that took care of me when I got sick. I am wondering if any of the shops are sending goods to the United States during lockdown, as perhaps we could help the economy there? Each shop owner becomes a friend after you meet them and we had hoped to come back this year to celebrate another milestone anniversary but I guess we will just do it vicariously though your truly generous videos. As you were planting the flowers in the wall, I was wondering how to water them. Of course Carlo had the solution. I love watching your videos.
