You’ve inspired me. I had left over rice pilaf. It sat for two days. I needed a side dish. Here’s what I came up with. Rice, English cucumber, cherry tomatoes, pinch of fresh garlic, crumbled feta cheese,chopped walnuts. I drizzled with a splash of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Chilled for an hour or so. Served with fresh Ling Cod we caught in British Columbia. Perfect.

I like fresh flowers. I either pick them or buy them. My arrangements are terrible, until now! I like you basic instructions on arranging. Now, jalapeños! Not something I mess with often. I will however, give your recipe a try on your word alone. It’s good enough for me. I also see pita bread appetizer pizzas in my future. Very inspiring as usual.

I have never had Jalapeño poppers, will definitely try this appetizer. Avery assisting was adorable. Binky and Goldie, such fun. I need that veggie chopper, thank you for sharing the link. The sky was so beautiful on the way to the flower store. Kevin, you have educated me on so many flowers. I purchased and absolutely love sweet pea, the fragrance is lovely. I don’t drink alcohol ; however, the drink is so attractive. I can make this without the rum. Your videos are the very best part of the week. ❤😊

You could roast the jalapenos chop and add to creamy mixture to make a dip or into a cheese ball rolled in a mixture of chopped cooked bacon, shredded cheese and green onions. Thanks for inspiring us.

Oh my goodness, Avery, the Quality Control Inspector 😂, how cute she is. Binky and Goldie, the playful sweet babies playing Catch Me if You Can on their beautiful, big staircase. Kevin, your flower arrangement is an instant joyful vision of lovely color, and the Zinnias on the countertop have remained gorgeous for over a week!! I want to make your appetizer nibbles for my husband. He will love those. However, the Blueberry Mojito looks so fantastic that I have already spread the word to my daughters about it. Wonderful summer cocktail party menu. Yay! The blueberry mojito looks delicious and satisfying. Beautiful to look at too. I will have to try. Jalapeno poppers are a favorite but I have never attempted to make at home. Now I know how. Pita pizzas look good too, and easy to make. The skewers round out the menu. Lovely summer garden bouquet, as though you just gathered from the garden. The purple zinnia bouquet is quite stunning in the kitchen. Fun to see Avery helping with the food prep. She's a trooper. Love all your nibbles. I do enjoy food on a skewer. My fave in the summer is fruit and cheese. Grapes with Swiss cheese, blueberry with a mild cheese. You can make broken ice by placing an ice cube in your palm, wack it with a table (or soup) spoon. Works like a charm.
