The sharp explanation of the theory is a truely state of art!!! I hope you can create a video on the Vienna game which is my favorite opening.

Your chess lectures are some of the best on the platform. I love how you explore topics in depth but still find a way to keep it digestible for lower rated players. I have trouble following GMs sometimes as their thoughts processes are so far beyond what I'm currently capable of but I find your videos a lot easier to follow while still learning a lot from them. Thanks a lot for helping us improve!

Rahul Sharma Stjepan will create history and become a GM I’m sure. I also think his chess strength is much higher than 1905, he has to work in his psychology.

You lectures are of high quality. Keep up the good work ! One small peeve : it is heresy to discuss pawn up positions without referencing Bobby Fischer's games !

hi stjepan, enjoyed the video. Do you already have some OTB tournaments coming up or aren't there any plans yet?

So the take-home message is that, in most cases, the extra pawn is less and less advantageous as the heavy pieces are traded off?

I have question why didn't Karpov play Ra5 instead of queentrade in game with Kasparov ??? THNKS
@end00k374 жыл бұрын
then d6 and queen can escape
@pontusl14214 жыл бұрын
Kasparow could play d5 and attack the Queen, creating an escaping path for his own queen

"If the rooks get traded off then the endgame becomes fairly simple draw" - after deeply analyzing couple of games last months, like: 1. Duras vs Rubinstein, Barmen 1905 2. Koneru vs Kosteniuk, Cairns Cup 2020 ... I have serious doubts about that statement :)

Thanks for considering that:) Yeah, unfortunately the number of slots is limited and I can only work with a few people. Taking more would mean that I either don't do my best or that I neglect my own training.

Content-wise it is a great video; however, having to watch an ad every 3 or 4 minutes makes it impossible to concentrate and follow up on the discussion. You could at least plant the ads in between the games instead of right in the middle of a sentence.
