Nice demo ;) I have a similar setup as yours (Squier Telecaster guitar + Focusrite Scarlett Solo + Bias FX 2). On the presets with more distortion (metal, rock etc.), I hear background noise (though the Noise Gate is on). Any ideas?

Noise Gate On means you hear that the NoiseGate workin' or is the Noise so loud that the NoiseGate doesn't cut?

I have like same souncard and a PC that its 3 times better. My plugins sound lifeless. Like no punchy at all. Maybe need better monitor speakers?

Monitor speakers sounds much better than regular speakers that's for sure, however if you watch demo videos on the same speaker that you play, with same settings it should sound the same.

@@AndorOsztrogonac Always thought its the soundcard because the focusrite 2nd gen don't have much headroom.. But yours even soft clip a bit. I don't know. How much gain are you using in the focusrite? Instrumental in right?

Yea instrument input and I crank the gain until it get's orange when I hit the strings really hard

@@AndorOsztrogonac I have i3 processor with 16gb ddr4 ram and exactly same focusrite solo 2nd gen. All the plugins sound totally muffled, lifeless and fizzy to me. I make sure I'm on the instrument switch on high z input and I'm not clipping anywhere. Got dimarzio pickups in guitar.

Dude believe me it sounds exactly like you hear it in the video, I didn't do any post effects or anything, just my guitar straight into my focusrite scarlet interface and that's it.
