I had Tom for a Homelessness class a very, very long time ago. Because of his servant leadership I am helping Nonprofit Organizations in hopes to be a positive servant leader. We all have teachers that have impacted us profoundly, Tom Thibodeau was one of those teachers for me.

Without a doubt the most incredible, humble, and inspiring person I have ever met in my life. I’ve never heard anybody say a single bad thing about him and vice versa.

I loved your talk Tom. It makes me realise that service has nothing to do with acting consciously, its not deliberate, its everything we do. Thank you!

"With a heart full of grace and a "______" of love" - can someone clarify what he said?? He said it 3x times, plus the amount of times I rewound the video, and I STILL can't understand.

is there a way to update the subtitles of this video? Some of the words and phrases aren't accurate to what Tom is saying.

Doode. You don't even get it. I'm sure you will get good fees in your lectures. But it's all about you, and that is where you are a salesman. You are NOT a servant.

Obviously, you don't know then man which is why you fail to hear the message!

He actually does amazing things for the university and the whole community. Every semester he teaches a class about homelessness and spends a night outside, even in the Minnesota winter! He also founded A Place of Grace where people in need can get meals, etc. so please don’t tell me he is a salesman. He is the definition of servant.

Tom is a good friend and a fantastic teacher. I knew him long before I went to Viterbo to get my masters when I was in my 40's as he had taught CCD to my sons who loved him too. He is the master of the teachable moment and appropriate and powerful story. I am proud to know him.
